Course Title, Code, Credit Value, and Description

Each course offered at the University has a unique code, title and credit value. A list of courses offered may be found in this Catalog. In addition, the Catalog contains a brief description of the course content and any required prerequisites or co-requisites. The course code consists of three or four letters that reflect its discipline or field of study, followed by a three-digit number that indicates its level. The title of the course gives an indication of its content. The credit value of the course has three numbers; the first one gives the number of lecture hours per week, the second shows the number of laboratory or problem-solving hours per week, and the third one gives the overall credit value of the course which will contribute to the particular degree requirements.
