CHEM 497 Senior Thesis I
Over the course of two semesters, students work closely with a faculty member to address a significant
and complex question at the boundary of knowledge in chemistry. Students may work individually or in
small teams subject to departmental approval. The project will require students to apply a broad range of
theoretical and practical research techniques to the question and to exercise advanced critical thinking and evaluation as the project progresses, leading to new insights.
