MATH 111 Calculus I
This course introduces students to the theory and techniques of single variable differential and integral
calculus. The emphasis is on problem solving in a science and engineering context, as opposed to theory.
Topics include studying the exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and polynomial functions and their
limits, continuity, derivatives, extrema, integration, area under a curve, and volumes of revolution.
