EPSS 498 Senior Design Project II
This course introduces geological concepts related to the distribution and movement of water in the
soil and rocks of the Earth's crust. It covers a range of topics related to water in the lithosphere, and its
interactions with the hydrosphere and atmosphere. Specifically, the course topics include the hydrological
cycle, groundwater flow, aquifer testing, and pollution with a special emphasis on UAE fresh water
systems. The course requires one or more days of field trip in the UAE.
