MATH 395 Special Topics in Mathematics
This course covers the fundamental principles of the theory of manifolds. In the first part of the course,
the notions of topological space, continuity, compactness, boundedness, connectedness and convergence are introduced. Most topics focus on the study of smooth functions, vector fields and differential forms. An overview of integration on manifolds and the De Rham cohomology are also considered.
