EENG 331 Electromechanical Energy Conversion

This course introduces balanced three-phase power circuits, magnetic circuits and transformers, and basic electromechanical energy conversion devices. Transformer circuits are modeled and analyzed. The steady-state behaviour of DC machines, three-phase induction machines and three-phase synchronous generators, is modeled and analyzed, including an examination of basic DC and induction machine types.
