EPSS 425 Reflection Seismology

The course introduces fundamental wave theory and seismic data acquisition, processing, and visualization techniques to image and describe the underground. It includes laboratory work using seismic software and real-world seismic data. Students learn to design acquisition systems, acquire data, and interpret a seismic reflection survey. In addition, students are required to conduct fieldwork in the UAE.
