ESMA 351 Operations Management

This course introduces students to concepts of operations management in manufacturing and service industries. The course covers various operations management tools and methods, such as forecasting, inventory management, scheduling, material and capacity planning, to address how firms can effectively design their operations to match supply with demand under different circumstances. The course also includes an overview of integrated production planning and control systems, including MRP, MRP II and ERP.
