Undergraduate Catalog

PHYS 322 Electricity and Magnetism II

This course builds directly upon and expands the concepts of electromagnetism introduced in PHYS 320, Electricity and Magnetism I. The course explores conservation laws, induction, and electromotive force, culminating in Maxwell’s equations and electromagnetic waves. The course covers field potentials for static and moving charges, dipole radiation, and concludes with relativistic electrodynamics.
