MEEN 603 Advanced Thermodynamics

This course provides a strong basis in the fundamentals of classical and statistical thermodynamics. The covered topics include: Maxwell relations and thermodynamic properties, Gibbs and Helmholz free energy, thermodynamics of mixing, chemical equilibrium, introduction to statistical thermodynamics, Boltzman statistics, partition function, interfacial phenomena and surface tension.
