MSEN 622 Electrical, Optical and Magnetic Properties of Amorphous Materials

Electrical, optical, opto-electronic and magnetic properties of non crystalline (amorphous) materials. Discussion of roles of disorder, defects and doping on the optoelctronic properties of the materials. Discussion of methods of growth and characterization of these materials. A number of applications using these materials will be discussed in detail.
