CHEM 343 Advanced Instrumental Analysis Techniques in Chemistry
This course discusses contemporary instrumental analysis techniques and related studies of the
physicochemical properties of materials at the bulk or surface level, based on microscopy, porosimetry,
atomic and molecular spectroscopy, and thermal approaches. The course covers the basic principles of
each technique, including instrumentation, operation mechanism, detection limit, resolution, interference,
variable parameters, and specimen preparation for a range of applications.
