MATH 431 Discrete Mathematical Models in Biology
This course applies mathematical theory and techniques to biological and biomedical applications with an emphasis on discrete mathematical modelling. The course introduces discrete deterministic/probabilistic modelling methods, such as difference equations, cellular automata or surface-energy models, agent-based models and network models.
