PhD in Biomedical Sciences

The PhD in Biomedical Sciences (BMSC) degree is modelled after US and European-based programs and aims to graduate students with a solid foundation in biomedical sciences, allowing them to have aspiring careers in academia or in the biomedical sciences/biotech industry. The PhD in Biomedical Sciences (BMSC) program is aligned with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 plan through the provision of internationally excellent education and student experience in Biomedical Science, resulting in highly skilled professionals, capable of developing state-of-the-art technologies in priority sectors of industry, business and government.

The program goals of the Khalifa University PhD in Biomedical Sciences are to:

1. Seamlessly integrate innovative research and world-class education to produce world leaders and critical thinkers in biomedical sciences;
2. Develop the capacity to create innovative solutions to current and emerging challenges in Biomedical Sciences; and
3. Promote and contribute to efforts toward  the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision for a knowledge-based economy.
