MSc in Public Health
About the Program
Public health plays a vital role in promoting health and preventing disease. However, the COVID-19 pandemic revealed significant gaps in the public health workforce globally and in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Specifically, there are two critical challenges: a shortage of qualified professionals and a disconnect between the existing skills of the workforce and the competencies needed to address current and future public health challenges. In response to these gaps, we offer a MSc in Public Health (MPH) program designed to directly strengthen the public health workforce in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. This MPH trains a transformative generation of leaders in public health, equipped to face the challenges of the future. Our MPH program is built on four core pillars, aligning with the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) competencies.
