AERO 771 Engineering Sustainability in Aerospace Systems
This course covers contemporary technological advancements towards achieving a sustainable future in aviation and in the broader aerospace industry, with due consideration for the evolving national and international policy framework. As part of this course, you will learn the key multidisciplinary modelling, design and assessment methodologies that are adopted as part of the research undertakings in this area. These include atmospheric pollution and noise propagation models, Environmental Impact and Life-Cycle Assessment (EIA/LCA) processes, multi-objective trajectory optimization, and the main technological solutions for enhancing the sustainability of aircraft systems, airports, airspace and flight operations.

Knowledge about Advanced Flight Dynamics and Control or Graduate Level Aerospace Systems Engineering courses or equivalent
