MSDH 664 Digital Twin in Healthcare
This course explores the principles, design, and implementation of digital twin (DT) technology in healthcare. Emphasizing personalized and predictive medicine, students will learn how to model and simulate patient physiology and healthcare processes using real-time data. Topics include system architectures, machine learning integration, clinical applications, ethical considerations, and validation strategies. Practical case studies and a capstone project provide hands-on experience building healthcare DT prototypes.
