Minor in Game Development

The Game Development (GD) minor is open to students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and any other engineering or science discipline.

 

Goals

The goal of the Minor in GD program is to provide students with the needed game development knowledge and related skills to design, develop, and implement video games. It involves various aspects from design to user experience evaluation.

 

PROGRAM Learning Outcomes

  • Ability to design and develop engaging interactive games by applying principles of game design and user-centered development.
  • Ability to design and evaluate intuitive and effective user interfaces and user experiences.

The minor in Game Development consists of 19 credit hours, distributed as follows: 7 credits of background courses, 9 credits of core courses, and 3 credits for a GD project.
