COSC 452 Human-Computer Interaction

This course introduces human-computer interaction (HCI) principles with a focus on the design and usability evaluation of digital games. Students explore HCI theories, cognitive aspects, interaction design, and user interface development with an emphasis on creating engaging, usable gaming experiences. The course covers evaluation methods, including usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and analytics specifically tailored for games. Students work in teams to design, implement, and evaluate a game project.
