Undergraduate Catalog

PHYS 433 Quantum Physics II

This course builds upon the foundational concepts introduced in Introductory Quantum Physics, extending students' proficiency in applying quantum mechanics to many-body systems. It covers standard approximation methods and introduces the quantum mechanics of light and atom-field interactions. Applications include key systems such as the damped harmonic oscillator and entangled states.
