BMED 415 Nanotechnology for Drug Discovery and Delivery

The main objective of this course is to provide fundamental knowledge of nanotechnology and its applications in drug delivery and discovery. The course discusses natural and synthetic biomaterials that are suitable for drug delivery systems. Nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems include the formulation and characterization which can be applied to imaging, diagnosis, and effective treatment of diseases. Basic concept of innovative drug discovery strategies will also be discussed.
