COSC 354 Operating Systems
This course covers the important problems in operating system design and implementation. The course begins with a brief historical perspective on the evolution of operating systems, covering the major components, including process management (processes, threads, CPU scheduling, inter-process communication, and deadlock management), sustainable scheduling, memory management (paging, segmentation, and address translation), and device and file management.
