HUMA 106 Contemporary Emirati Studies (in Arabic)
This course provides an introduction to the historic, geographical, political, demographic, economic, cultural and social foundations of UAE society. It traces the nation’s transformation from a traditional community into a modern, globally competitive state. The course explores the UAE’s political system, foreign policy, family and society structure, population trends, culture and values, and future national vision. The course further emphasizes the country’s strategic initiatives in women’s empowerment, human capital development, community health and wellbeing, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation. This course is taught in Arabic.
