MATH 435 Mathematical Imaging

This course introduces the mathematical foundations of imaging science from an inverse problems perspective. It covers image formation, reconstruction, and degradation using tools from linear algebra, Fourier analysis, probability, and optimization. Regularization methods and computational techniques for stable image reconstruction are studied. Applications focus on medical and scientific imaging.
