Undergraduate Catalog

PEEG 434 Reservoir Engineering II

Key reservoir parameters required to calculate recovery factor, mobilization, sweep efficiencies, fractional flow analysis, and heterogeneity interaction, and their influence on recovery factor are fully covered. General principles relating to special core analysis (SCAL) properties and volumetric sweep that should be considered in planning secondary recovery, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), and improved oil recovery (IOR) processes are reviewed. Introduction to reservoir simulation principles is also discussed.
