MEEN 768 Turbulence Theory and Modelling
This advanced course is orientated towards turbulence theory and modelling using advanced CFD techniques. The course will cover the main aspects of the turbulence theory followed by an in-depth explanation of turbulent flow modelling techniques: Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) modelling, Large Eddy Simulation (LES) and Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS). Applications will be illustrated via simulations.
