BMED 425 Biomedical Imaging: Principles and Systems
This course covers the fundamental principles and systems in biomedical imaging. Specifically, the working basis of imaging systems are covered, as well as their clinical applications in radiology and nuclear medicine. Students are introduced to the main medical imaging techniques currently employed in modern hospitals. New state-of-the-art trends in mobile and portable imaging devices are also explored for research and clinical purposes.
