CIVE 311 Transportation Engineering and Geomatics

This course covers plane and topographic surveying, error theory, traverse computations, topographic mapping and CADD applications. It also emphasizes the operation, design, and planning of transportation infrastructure including highway and arterial roads, and signalized intersections. Various issues related to transportation such as congestions, public transit, smart intersections, and connected and autonomous vehicles are discussed.
