EPSS 417 Earth’s Climate Observation Methods

This course focuses on the methods used to study the Earth’s climate in recent times. Both observations and numerical modelling methods are explored. Concepts of satellite meteorology, remote sensing, and image processing for the characterisation of the Earth’s atmosphere are discussed as means of identify-ing important patterns of the Earth’s climate.
