BIOL 300 Biology and the Environment: Exploring Interconnections for Sustainability

Connections between biology and environmental sciences with a focus on sustainability principles is explored. Topics include ecosystem dynamics, biodiversity conservation, resource management, pollution control, climate change biology, and environmental policy through a lens of sustainability. Emphasis is placed on the interdependence of biological systems and the environment and the ethical considerations and practical strategies for fostering sustainability.
