CHEG 310 Introduction to Biochemical Engineering

This course equips chemical engineers with key modelling skills for biochemical processes such as enzymatic reaction kinetics and cell growth models. It explores key principles of biomolecular sciences including the basic structure and function of biomolecules/biomacromolecules, enzyme immobilization, cellular functions, and genetic engineering. Optimizing biological systems for industrial and environmental applications is highlighted.
