MATH 243 Probability and Statistical Inference
This course provides a mathematically rigorous introduction to probability theory and inferential statistics.
Numerous real-world applications are presented throughout the course. After covering random variables/
vectors, expectation/variance, and limit theorems, students are introduced to inferential statistics, including point estimation and interval estimation in the presence of nuisance parameters, and simple hypothesis testing.
