BMED 351 Biomedical Circuits and Systems

This course introduces  analog and digital electronic circuits and their application to biomedical instrumentation and physiological measurements. The course emphasizes electronic hardware and software design issues required to produce medical instruments that satisfy international standards for safety, performance, and quality control. In addition, the course introduces artificial intelligence (AI) methods for biomedical data acquisition and processing, equipping them with fundamental knowledge to design modern biomedical systems that integrate both circuit-level and intelligent signal-processing techniques.
