Undergraduate Catalog

PHYS 122 University Physics II

This course introduces the basic elements of electricity, electric circuits, and material properties. Electromagnetic waves and applications to physical optics are discussed. It also employs basic vector calculus and integration techniques to determine the spatial and temporal distributions of charges, currents, and electromagnetic fields. The course includes laboratory activities and experiments that demonstrate key concepts discussed in the lectures.
