CIVE 483 Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation
This course examines the environmental, social, and economic impacts of climate change, with emphasis on arid and semi arid regions. It covers risks to infrastructure, water, and energy systems using climate modeling tools, and explores how climate variability affects resources, health, and food security. The course also develops adaptation strategies to enhance sustainability and infrastructure resilience, with a focus on UAE/GCC contexts.
