MATH 318 Statistical Learning

This course introduces AI methods with an emphasis on analysis of categorical data and application to real data sets. Students learn different types of regression models. AI classification methods, like discriminant analysis and support vector machines, are presented along with dimensionality reduction techniques in AI. Resampling techniques and model selection methods are also discussed.
