MATH 334 Mathematical Foundations of Quantum Theory

This course introduces the mathematical foundations of quantum information, emphasizing formalism, structures, and modern methods. Students apply linear algebra and probability to model qubits, states, measurements, and quantum channels while building physical intuition. They analyse entropy, mutual information, and entanglement, and evaluate fundamental limits.
