MEEN 343 Heat Transfer

This course focuses on the rate of thermal energy transfer, with applications in industrial processes, electronics, building, engineering systems and beyond. The course covers essential heat transfer mechanisms, including steady and transient conduction, free and forced convective heat transfer in laminar and turbulent flows, and heat exchangers and an introduction to radiative heat transfer. The course also demonstrate the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven methods in heat-transfer analysis and design optimization.
