MEEN 370 Introduction to Manufacturing Processes

This course offers a foundational overview of manufacturing processes, emphasizing design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA). Students study and practice key techniques such as casting, forming, plastics and composites processing, powder metallurgy, ceramics, joining methods, and material removal. The course also introduces rapid prototyping and its impact on modern manufacturing.
