PUBH 617 Genomics in Public Health
This course explores the rapidly evolving field of genomics and its transformative impact on public health. It will focus on the underlying science of gene-exposure interactions and will use examples of such interactions and their health consequences. The course covers fundamental concepts in the relationship between genetic variation and population health, and the ethical, legal, and social implications of using genomic data.
