PUBH 704 Biostatistics
In this course, students will learn about several sophisticated statistical techniques commonly utilized in public health research, such as hypothesis testing, measures of associations, measures of performances, correlations, multiple linear regression, binary logistic regression, survival analysis models, as well as power and sample size calculations. The course provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in using various computer applications through the use of a diverse collection of data sets sourced from medical and healthcare fields. By completing this course, students will acquire advanced expertise in selecting suitable statistical methods for analyzing complex data and comprehending statistical analysis findings presented in health-related publications.
