PUBH 732 Leveraging Data for Evidence-Based Decision Making

The utilization of data in decision-making is essential in healthcare delivery. Data can be used to evaluate the quality of care delivered, program effectiveness, health economics, etc. This course provides students with frequently employed data analysis tools fundamental to decision-making. The course introduces data use, standard techniques to present and analyze data, and how to transform analysis results into evidence-driven decisions. Students learn how to apply and integrate these concepts into health-related scenarios and gain fundamental skills in data-driven decision-making as healthcare leaders. This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to implement theoretical concepts to critically review relevant literature and evaluate different types of research procedures and outcomes.
