PHYS 203 Introduction to Astronomy

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of astronomy and the physical principles governing celestial bodies and cosmic phenomena. It provides an understanding of the structure and evolution of the solar system, stars, and related astronomical objects while exploring the principles of planetary motion and electromagnetic radiation.  The course also introduces the use of telescopes and modern observational tools in the study of the universe.
