CHEM 480 Materials Chemistry

This course outlines the basic concepts of materials and solid-state chemistry. It covers topics related to the development, characteristics and uses of advanced materials. It introduces preparation, processing, and characterization of various types of materials such as ceramics, glasses metals, alloys, composites, semiconductors, thin films, crystalline and amorphous solids, porous materials, and surface science.
