CHEM 497 Senior Research Project I

Students work closely with a faculty member, either individually or in small teams on a research project in chemistry. Students are engaged in an extensive literature research in preparation of a research proposal in a topic of their interest, where they learn theoretical and practical research techniques. It requires students to draw upon their scientific background, experience, and other pertinent resources by applying advanced critical thinking and analysis to gain new research insights and communicate their work in both written and oral forms.
