BIOM 750 Aging and Cardiovascular Diseases

This course is designed to provide PhD students with the latest updates in the field of cardio-vascular aging, with focus on precision medicine. Specifically, it is geared toward building an updated understanding of the key cellular, molecular, and genetic factors involved in the structural and functional changes of the cardiovascular system during aging. Students will learn about the latest advances in cardiovascular research, including emerging diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic strategies. In addition to lectures, this course will also include research presentations and in-depth discussions of cutting-edge research and methods relat-ed to cardiovascular diseases in aging populations.
