BIOM 770 Recent Advances in Precision Immunology
This advanced immunology course for PhD students will provide an in-depth understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms of the immune system and its role in health and disease. A particular emphasis will be given to the latest advances in precision medicine and artificial intelligence, and their applications in immunology research and patient care. Students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and learn to independently design and conduct original and relevant research addressing complex health problems using precision immunology approaches. They will also learn how to effectively communicate fundamental concepts and research findings in diverse areas of biomedical sciences in both written and oral forms to expert and non-expert audiences.
