Undergraduate Catalog

PHYS 364 Engineering Physics

This course bridges the gap between physics and engineering by showing how fundamental physical principles are transformed into engineered products, solutions, and real-world technologies. Students learn design thinking, modeling, and system integration, including data-driven and artificial-intelligence-based approaches, to translate theoretical ideas into functional devices and systems. Applications include optics, electronics, materials, energy systems, and medical technologies.
